Travelers Urged to Always Implement Health Protocols during Homecoming Trip

Jakarta Vice Governor Ahmad Riza Patroa calls on the travelers to always implement Covid-19 health protocols, especially wearing a mask when interacting with many people.

Be grateful, but you need to be careful and carry out health protocols

After two years of the pandemic, he said, this year the government had again given the opportunity to its citizens ro take homecoming.

"Be grateful, but you need to be careful and carry out health protocols," he expressed, after he attended the Gema Ramadan ICMI Jakarta event at Jami Baiturahman Mosque, Jalan Musyawarah, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Saturday (4/23) evening.

Quota for Free Homecoming Participants Still Remaining 4,357 Passengers

To avoid congestion, each traveler was required to set or schedule an early departure.

"This is helpful to avoid us from congestion during the homecoming flow. Residents must be smart in scheduling their homecoming and returning to Jakarta," he explained.

They could also choose mass transportation to avoid congestion. Moreover, the government had a free homecoming program that would dispatch 292 buses for homecoming and 200 buses for returning flow.

"So, there are many alternatives that can be used such as planes, trains, buses or ships," he closed.
